The Maties Canoe Club, situated just outside of Stellenbosch on the Vredenhiem Dam, consists of both students and senior members. It has something to offer for paddlers of all ages and has grown to become one of the bigger clubs in the Western Cape. Many talented paddlers have learnt the ins and outs of paddling on our dam, whilst also offering the space to just paddle socially. Club time trials are every Wednesday evening and are also a great place for a braai and some socialising afterwards.
